Some Piano Music Tips

Once you get past the basic of playing the piano and knowing the keys and chords you’ll be able to pick up new songs a lot more easily.  How?  By knowing which key your new song is played in is the key.Once you know the key you should be able to figure out which chords the new song is mainly comprised of.  Once the chords are known then you’ll be able to incorporate the notes from the song to establish the melody with every chord that you play for the song.

This is assuming that you have the basic foundations of keys and chords pretty much mastered.

Once you get past this initial stage of learning then that’s when piano playing really becomes fun and diverse.  When you learn to master music intervals you’ll be able to create new chords using the base chords of the song that you just learned.

There are a lot of new songs that have been created by using old songs and then using derivatives of the keys and chords from that original song.

I know it sounds confusing but it all starts with the first steps of understanding and learning those keys and chords.
